About

Welcome to Three Minutes in UU History!

The folks behind this blog and the associated YouTube channel (where all the magic really happens) are MDiv students/graduates who love history, Unitarian Universalism, and the convergence of the two. We support the organizations we profile and use as sources by linking to their websites and driving visitors to them, providing links to purchasing the books by the authors we use as our sources, and in any other way we can think of promoting UU resources.

As a favor to us, we ask you to subscribe to our YouTube channel via this link. We are not supported by any organizations or UU churches, and so we need to eke out a little money to cover our costs via building our YouTube subscriber base, occasional affiliate links, and the Donate button.

Additionally, we donate all of our YouTube income to support http://www.covenantuu.org, a recently formed UUA-recognized Covenanting Community. Providing online-only UU-friendly worship framed through the lens of the earth-based traditions of the 6th UU source, we want to see this new spiritual community grow and thrive. Please visit their website, and if you can make it on a Tuesday evening, attend a service.

Sponsorship opportunities exist.
